The group was founded in 2012 with a simple goal: connect students and elevate the course. Today, we're much more than a student group. We're a pillar of personal and technical development at NOVA FCT.

n.inf started as a group of students at NOVA FCT, and over time has evolved into what is now one of the largest student groups in the faculty, with significant involvement in academic life, seeking to introduce its members to what could be their future professional career.
Beyond project development, n.inf seeks to organize events that add value to interested students. From Workshops and Talks that promote experiences and contact with industry companies, to Hackathons that allow developing technical skills, or even other events of a recreational nature.

Executive Board
The Executive Board is the representative body of the association, in charge of its resources and of the events and activities that take place during the year. They are also responsible for enforcing the association's rules and regulations, and have the authority to impose disciplinary measures on any member they see fit.

The General Assembly Board manages and oversees all plenary sessions held during the year, as well as all matters discussed therein, drafting and publishing the minutes of each session, rendering them accessible for the other members of the association.

The Members of the association are assigned to one of the areas listed below. Within each area, Members are responsible for carrying out projects, presenting ideas, overseeing events, and much more! Each department is led by a department manager, who assigns tasks to the members of that department, offering a helping hand whenever it is needed.

The department of Projects is the one that handles all internal technical initiatives related to data management and storage, and association administration! Whenever there's an issue that requires hands-on work to solve a technical problem involving writing code, this department is the one that takes action!
